The scholarship covers course registration fees, three nights lodging at the host hotel, and expense reimbursement of eligible travel expenses.
Purpose
This Resident Scholarship allows CT surgery residents to attend the STS CABG Academy and advance their skills in coronary surgery by learning the latest research and techniques.
Course Description
Formerly the STS Coronary Conference, this event has a new name, but still offers the same high-quality, immersive education. Over the course of three days, attendees will participate in expert-led presentations, video demonstrations of surgical techniques, case-based discussions, and abstract sessions covering conduit selection, personalized grafting strategies, off- and on-pump CABG, hybrid revascularization, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques, and high-risk patient management.
The Training Village returns this year with an increased focus on hands-on learning. Course directors have expanded the experience to emphasize practical, hands-on sessions alongside focused didactic learning. Attendees will have more time to engage in simulation-based training and live demonstrations featuring cutting-edge surgical tools, techniques, and technologies.
